We are Cruising For 2020! Our Public Cruise Tours and Private Charters are back, as we are taking reservations with some slight capacity changes, and with proper PPE in place, to assure your safety and comfort as we ply the waters of Lake Minnetonka and the Mississippi River! What we are planning to do for you once we are back to work for you…

The team at Paradise Charter Cruises and the Minneapolis Queen understand your concerns as we are following the outbreak of the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) closely as well, for the safety of our passengers and crew.

What we are doing for YOUR safety upon the start of our season throughout our fleet for the 2020 season:

For Private Charters:

  • You may cancel your 2020 cruise cruise with us do to any COVID-19 related order issued causing us to postpone our operations up to 7 day prior to your cruise date and receive a FULL cruise credit for a future cruise with us at any time in the future.
  • We are considered a small event venue by the CDC (Centers of Disease Control) serving between 10 to 145 attendees aboard our fleet, where the event Host usually knows the parties invited. We will work with the Host to assure safe distance guide lines are followed when making their reservations based on state and local agencies when confirming group sizes.
  • Adding implementation of pre-shift temperature checks for each crew member on board your cruise with us.
  • We are asking event Hosts to do their due diligence in regards to spreading the word to their guests they should have knowledge of illness or anyone who has traveled to areas of high concentrations or been around persons infected with COVID-19. Thus, we strongly encourage those invitees be advised to not attend unless proper clearing has been obtained.
  • No charge table arrangement set up to help ease concerns regarding social distancing as needed.
  • Complimentary upgrades and reduced or removal of capacity minimums whenever possible.
  • Private Cruise Events will be offered buffet plated meal service at no extra charge upon request.
  • The above polices are subject to changes directed by state and local agencies accordingly.

For our Public Cruise Tours:

  • For public cruises reserved on line through October 10th, 2020,  you may cancel up to 72 hours prior your cruise date and receive the full cruise credit amount valid for any public cruise tour with us through October 2021.
  • While recommendations are in effect by the CDC, we will be reducing our capacity rates per vessel by over 50% to assure ample “social distancing” is met for your safety onboard should we be directed to do so. Please note that most of our areas are open air with ample seating as well.
  • Adding implementation of pre-shift temperature checks for each crew member on board your cruise with us.
  • We are reminding guests that they should have knowledge of illness themselves or anyone with them who has traveled to areas of high concentrations or been around persons infected with COVID-19.
  • Public Cruise meals will be served buffet plated by our staff.
  • The above polices are subject to changes directed by state and local agencies accordingly.

Moving forward, along with our already stringent cleaning protocols:

  • Adding implementation of pre-shift temperature checks for each crew member on board.
  • Paradise Charter Cruises and the Minneapolis Queen are adding strict deep and more frequent cleanings prior, during and after each cruise, along with providing hand sanitizes available on all boats in public areas and food areas along with our restrooms.
  • Our food and service staff training has been updated as well, providing even stronger direction with more frequent hand washing, more cautious handling of foods, beverages, utensils, etc. and meeting any new and enforced standards as directed by State and Local agencies.
  • We will be posting reminders for passengers social distance, to wash their hands often, use provided hand sanitizes prior to food service, avoid handshakes and most of all have FUN when experiencing their event with us!

It is our intent to provide our passengers with the most unique experience they can receive while taking our exceptional service standards to a new level to assure our customers and guests a safe experience while enjoying their time on the water aboard our award winning fleet.
